My favourite film


 Film 🎥 are a powerful form of entertainment that can make us laugh,cry and think deeply about life. Among the Many films I have watched, Moda Tharindu is my favourite. It is a film that combines humour, emotion and an important message about society.

Moda Tharindu is a popular Sinhala comedy film loved by many people. The story revolves around a simple innocent young man named Tharindu,who is often misunderstood by society because of his unusual behaviour. Although people call him ''moda'' (foolish), Tharindu has a kind heart and always tries to help others.

One of the main reasons I like this film is because ot its humour.The comedy scenes are very entertaining and make the audience laugh throughout the movie. At the same time,the film also carries a deeper meaning. It shows that we should not judge people based on their appearance or behaviour. Sometimes,those we think are foolish may actually be more genuine and kind than others.

Another reason why Moda Tharindu is my favourite film is acting. The actors have perfomed their roles very well,especially the character of Tharindu. His expressions,actions,and dialogue delivery meke the character realistic and lovable.

The film also teaches valuable lessons about kindness,patience,and understanding. It reminds us to respect everyone and treat others with compassion. This message is very important in today 's society,where people are often quick to judge others.

Moda Tharindu,is not just a comedy film but also a meaningful story with a strong message. It entertains the audience while teaching important life lessons. That is why it remains my favourite film,and I would recommend it to everyone.

How I spent my last vacation

  My last vacation was at the end of year, I did a lot of things because it was very long and I had enough time to have fun. I cleaned my bedroom on the first day of my vacation and prepared a time table to manage time effectively. I helped my mam to cook most of days. Also I arranged and cleaned our home and garden with my father, mother, brother and sister.  We did the most enjoyable thing in the middle of the vacation, together with my family we decided to travel to our grandparents’ house in Galle. We had never planned a trip all together and the opportunity finally occurred. We did a lot of enjoyable things there. I flew kites on the beach with my grandfather. My grandmother prepared delicious curries such as ‘polos ambul,dhal curry ' for us, and she kept me, my brother and sister on her lap and told us stories of her golden days.  I felt very sad on the last day of my vacation, but I will never forget the sweet memories and new experiences I got from this vacation.

  The Sinhala and Tamil new year is one of the most important festivals in Sri Lanka. It is celebrated in April every year by both Sinhalese and Tamil people. It is a time of joy,unity, and happiness. Families clean their houses and prepare for the celebrations. There are many traditions followed during this festivals. They cook milk rice and sweet foods like kavum and kokis. Wearing new clothes is also an important custom. Families and neighbours come together to celebrate. Children play traditional games, and elders give blessings and gifts. The Sinhala and Tamil new year helps to bring people together. People also visit relatives and share food with each other. The Sinhala and Tamil new year is a joyful and meaningful festival in Sri Lanka. It is a time to celebrate with family and friends.
