Festivals

Festivals are special times where people come together and celebrate. Most of these celebrations are related to national or religious events. Special events in a country 's history such as the Independance Day or religious events like Christmas are celebrated by people. Singing and exchanging gifts are popular rituals and often form a part of such festivals.

Pictures and objects also have a special meaning at festival times. For example, stocking are hung by children on Christmas eve for Santa Clause to put presents in them. Gold fish have become a symbol of wealth at Chinese New Year. Some times, people belonging to different cultures share the same symbols in their festivals. Christians light candles at Christmas and Hindus do the same for Deepawali.

Thanksgiving is celebrated by the Americans in November. It is a national holiday in America. Thanksgiving festival started in 1621.

Festivals are special days celebrated by people all around the world. They bring happiness, unity, and cultural value to our lives. People decorate their homes, share food, and spend time with family. Festivals help us remember our traditions and spread joy among everyone. They make life more colorful and meaningful.
